Wallpaper Wednesday – David’s Bearclaw Bruno

Today’s Wallpaper Wednesday photos come from David A. His Bearclaw Bruno is this week’s featured bike on Wallpaper Wednesday.

Here is what David had to say about his Bruno.

The approach to this build was year-round fat biking, and I’ve wanted a Ti frame for a long time, so Bearclaw’s release of their new Bruno fat bike frame was perfect timing. After looking at all the options, I really like the look of the internal routing on the Bearclaw and the modern geometry really works well on trails I ride like Redhead and  Chequamegon. I’ve been running the Wren inverted suspension fork for summer and the Wren carbon no nonsense fork in the winter. The Nextie wheels with Onyx hubs and Jumbo Jim tires are killer on dirt. Initial build included my first foray into wireless with GX AXS as well as RockShox Reverb AXS dropper which I fell instantly in love with, especially the cleaner look. I’ve also become attached to the Corvus Sweetrise carbon bars. I’ve not run studded tires much, but this year I tried a set of studded D5s on my old trusty Sun Ringles and ended up running them the whole winter. The most recent version is with the Surly corner bar, which I plan to run for my gravel rides and events such as the Driftless 100 (fat 45 category) coming up in April in Elkader IA.

Right on, David. For what it’s worth, I am also a Proud Bearclaw Bruno owner!
