Today’s Wallpaper photos come from Chris Rugowski, Chief Chicken Clicker at Chicken or The Egg Photography. Chris made a bunch of great captures during the heavy snow that fell during The US Fat Bike Open at the Ariens Nordic Center in Brillion, WI.
The US Fat Bike Open is part of the popular Snow Crown fat bike race series put on by George Kapitz and the crew at Broken Spoke Bike Studio in Green Bay, WI. The US Fat Open series finale had some serious prizes, including $1,000 checks for the male and female winners and HED/Onyx/Berd wheelset for the junior winner!
The Green Bay area Snow Crown series started with the Fatty Shack, Jan. 11th at the Hilly Haven Golf Course in De Pere and the mid-series race was Fat Camp at the Reforestation Camp in Suamico. It’s a shame that the fun series is over now that winter feels like it is actually here with six more inches of snow forecast to fall on Fat-Bike.com headquarters today and more this weekend. But there is always next year if you want to sign up for the Snow Crown 2025.
